Monday 30th June - walk ** – Felixstowe prom– Sunny and hot.

The heatwave continues, I had a quick drive round Felixstowe at 10 to take a few weather pics to send to the TV but I was beaten to it today as someone had sent some in earlier and it was already way too hot for us! So Mag and I spent all day in our pretty little garden enjoying the peace and quiet, I actually managed to do my exercises, I had to finish them indoors as I was burning my feet on my yoga mat while Mag did some potting and deadheading:) After lunch Mag read her book while I took a few pics of the many butterflies in the garden before we decided to head out for the days walk. We headed down to Felixstowe Prom where the light onshore breeze made it bearable as we ambled down to The Fludyers where we sat on the seat to watch the world go by, a bit crowded for our liking. We had the ligh breeze on our backs on the way back which made it feel much hotter and were glad to reach the Spa Garden path just past the theatre which lead to home, walking 2.5 miles on a hot day!
